The Hasty Pudding Institute of 1770, which includes the Hasty Pudding Club, The Hasty Pudding Theatricals at Harvard, and the Harvard Krokodiloes, honored producer David Heyman — the winner of its 2014 Order of the Golden Sphinx — with a gala at Lincoln Center on Monday night. Heyman is best known for producing the “Harry Potter” movies and recent Oscar favorite “Gravity.” The Sphinx award celebrates his career-long contributions to the arts. (Last year’s Sphinx winner was Sony Entertainment CEO Michael Lynton.) Heyman was entertained during Monday’s festivities by in-drag Hasty Pudding performers and by the Krokodiloes, the school’s oldest a cappella group. Guests at the party included American Repertory Theater Artistic Director Diane Paulus; Tony-winning director Michael Mayer, Courtney B. Vance; Mo Rocca; former Warner Music Group CEO Lyor Cohen, who was just in Boston to speak at Berklee; Dr. Oz; and Neil Patrick Harris, who is the Hasty Pudding Theatricals 2014 Man of the Year.
